Chrysler Ford & Chevrolet Sports Cars In 1964

In 1964 Chrysler desperately tried to keep up with Ford and Chevrolet sports cars with speed. They got the drop on when Ford would release it's Mustang and worked fast to present their new car before them. They took the Plymouth Valiant and beautified the front end then gave it a wrap around rear window and called it the Barracuda. It was quicker than the mustang with that 273cid V8 but sold far less, consumers just didn't like the back end and little trunk space.
