1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

In 1972 Chevrolet Camaro sales took a plunge and the 174 day strike at the Lordstown plant in Ohio didn't do much to help the situation. The strike left a major shortage in production and GM was in a panic. The '72 SS 396 managed to make it through the struggle and the unique design lasted 11 years. However, Camaro sales stayed down and didn't get back up for five years.

1971 Buick Riviera

The 1971 Buck Riviera flagship coupe nicknamed 'the boat tail' was one of Buick's greatest creations. It was a smooth and quiet ride with a huge 455 mill and a V8 engine that gave off 330 bhp. The swooping lines and angles gave the boat tail a uniquely drastic design that consumers really loved and the braking system was far better than it's rivals.
