Ferrari hit the scenes on March 12, 1947, that same year Franco Cortese won the Rme Grand Prix. A man by the name Enzo Ferrari was the developer and his trademark was 12-cylinder engines. Ferrari went on to collaborate with Pininfarina who helped carry out the image for Ferrari. Their first work was a newer version of the 212 Inter with a V12 engine and 2562cc's.
