New technology (self driving and innovative collision detection) for vehicles are sure to make drivers more lazy and careless. Cruise controls and brake automation suggest that the lives of drivers are in the hands of a computer. We've all seen computers crashed and hacked, right? So why would this be any different. Your basically putting the billions of lives across the globe in the hands of a computer. Am I the only one that sees a problem with this? Does this now mean that in the near future our kids won't have to take a driver's license test in order to drive? Why should they if a computer is driving their car, which is inevitable in the near future. Porsche is on their way to creating a vehicle that can read the road according to their geographical location, their working on having spot impending collisions and steering mechanisms, am I the only one that thinks this is crazy?
