1963 Studebaker Avanti


In 1962 a Studebaker Avanti R3 broke 29 Bonneville speed records making it one of the fastest American cars ever built. The '63 Avanti was redesigned for the first time since 1953. Legendary designer Raymond Loewy gave it a design that looked more European than American. The front fender and rear bumper were pretty sharp, it had a fiberglass body, circular headlights, and no front grille. The 289cid V8 was in very high demand but unfortunately production could not meet the demand.

It has a full flow ventilation system, electric clock, from and rear arm rests, full foam seats, a heater and defroster. Those features we take for granted now were really appreciated back then.

I've wondered what dream car do I want when I get enough money, at first my mind was sold on mustang made in the 70's, but now I am convinced that this is the car I want, this is my dream car. It's not too expensive, it's sexy, and I can just picture my happiness riding around in it with the top down on a hot summer day. One day she will be mine.

1977 Cadillac Eldorado


In 1977 the Cadillac Eldorado was one of the finest convertibles the world has seen. At the time it was the only convertible built in America. Four wheel disc brakes paired well with the front wheel drive, it had am and fm radio stations and the climate control was pretty cool.
