1972 Plymouth Satellite

The Grinch who stole my 72' Satellite

1949 Buick Roadmaster

The 1949 Buick Roadmaster had the starter switch connected to the accelerator. That made the Roadmaster roar when you started it up and put the pedal to the floor. It pushed out 150 bhp and had a 320 cid engine. The 16 valves were quiet because of the hydraulics and had front and rear coil springs for suspension. The maximum speed was only 100 mph and it went 0-60 in about 17 seconds.

1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

1964 Oldsmobile Starfire

Weighing in at about two tons, the 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire was not quick at all. It was hard to tell that the coupe and convertible came with a V8 Rochester four-barrel carb that gave 345 bhp. The 61' model was fine but around 64' the weight of the vehicle started to take it's toll. It had bucket seats, a center console, power steering, electric windows and leather trim. Unfortunately it lacked in exterior sex appeal compared to the T-Bird and sales were low. Still a Classic.

1969 Chevelle

Classic American Muscle Car!

1958 Buick Limited Riviera

The 1958 Buick Limited Riviera was just that, limited. Though it looks amazing the weight of the vehicle was too much to reach the listed power of 300 horses and 364 cubic inch displacement. On the interior the extra thick foam rubber made very comfortable seats and the vinyl trim had a nice look. Electric windows, an electrical clock and power steering was a nice touch, things we take for granted now a-days.

Oh Snap! I know what kind of car this is. First person to name the year make and model will receive a hefty reward of absolutely nothing.

Corvette Stingray

The Corvette was born in 1953, & till this day it is still one of the most desirable cars on the market. Even with the fickle minds of the consumer, Corvettes engineer & designer Zora Arkus-Duntov has managed to keep Corvette relative year after year. From going famous on the big screen with the 1960 convertible, to being famous on the race track with the 1963 Grand Sport, Corvette's have continued to be icons & a symbol of speed.

Early 50's Pontiac

Not sure but I'm thinking this is a Pontiac, early 50's? I can tell by the 2 doors, the body shape, and the grille.

1959 Cadillac Eldorado

The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado is a beautiful automobile. It is sooo long which gives you more reason to drive slow so everyone see you. It has a 130-inch wheel base and weighs about 5,060 pounds. With only 1,320 made the 59' Eldorado is highly desirable. It is a V8 that has the power of 325 horses. The design is very unique from the maticulous grille to the huge tail fins.

1970 Shelby Mustang GT500

I know people who have old beat up Mustangs and take their precious time restoring them and turning them into masterpieces. Those people are my heroes, enthusiasts who can really appreciate the history of the Mustang. Most of them do a magnificent job restoring these vintage cars, everything from the interior, exterior and under the hood. I must say the mustang especially the Shelby's are my favorite.

What is it?

I would like to think I know a lot about cars, but I don't know everything. Can you guys help me out and tell me what kind of car this is?

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

The 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a two seater convertible sports car. Half of them were coups with removable roof panels. It goes 0-60 in about 6 seconds with a max speed of 170. They have those pop up headlights I'm sure we all remember and some of them actually had the exhaust pipe on the side. The design is pretty sweet, it was made to look like a shark because GM chief Bill Mitchell loved sharks.

1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air 3

The Pontiac GTO Ram Air got a new facelift after 1967. The 68's 400 cubic-inch engine basically remained the same as the 67' accept for the new free flowing intake and exhaust manifolds that gave more horse power. It also received a new technology that allowed for more pollution control. The Ram Air 2 engine was made available halfway through the model year and the Ram Air 3 and IV were to follow in the next two years.

1932 Ford Model B

This car is iconic.

1909 Ford Model T

Before 1909 cars were too expensive for the middle and lower class. The Model T Ford was the first car made affordable to the middle and lower class in 1909. It is a beautiful car especially for that period in time. I actually would have loved to drive one of these, I still would like to drive this car.

Turbine Cars

Turbine cars have jet engines and run on any flammable liquid. Oil, kerosene, alcohol, diesel... These cars had simple engines and didn't need a lot of maintenance. There were no fan belts, radiators, and you never needed an oil change. In 1964 Chrysler innovated this technology but no one really knows why the program died after only 2 short years.

Collectible Cars

The number of fastback coupe production cars to roll off the shelf in the St. Louis line for the '66 model year was half the amount of Sting Rays at 17,762. The Corvette Sting Ray is one of the most collectible cars even until this day the '66 Sting Ray was a 327cid Turbo Fire cast iron block V8 that had an output of 300 bhp. Two speed automatics were offered at an additional cost but three speed manuals were standard.

1968 Ford Falcon

1968 was a great year for automobiles as auto makers spent $1.5 billion creating and designing new models. The 68' Ford Falcon set the tone for safety made available longer warranties.

Awesome

Well that's different.

1980 Porsche 924

In 1980 the Porsche 924 was one of the baddest cars to ever hit the road. The exterior was revamped offering more colors, a two-toned color pattern was even available. It has a 5 speed gearbox courtesy of Audi and a 2-liter four cylinder engine. It develops 125 bhp at 5,800 rpm and goes about 125 mph.

The 1967 Pontiac GTO is one of my favorite muscle cars.

1954 Buick Wildcat 2

The 1954 Buick Wildcat 2 has great style that looks like an early corvette. The two seater with the oval grille, drop top and white wall wheels was sure to be a hit with the ladies. It has a 100-inch wheel base with the power of 220 horses and a V-8 engine.

2016 Ford Mustang

Here's what the Mustang looks like now. Compared to the first one in the previous post.

1964 Ford Mustang | The First Year Of The Mustang

In April Ford Mustang turned 52 years old. Congratulations to Lee Iacocca the man behind the American Classic. Ford originally preferred 1965 as the birth year for mustang because it was a mid-year model. In 1966 Ford sold more than 600,000 mustangs a record that will never be broken by any other car in the world.

1978 Cadillac De Ville

1978 Cadillac De Ville

1977 Ford Thunderbird

The 1977 Ford Thunderbird was one of the best luxury coupe's of it's time. At the time it cost around $5,000. Before 77' it was a V8 and was on the same platform as the Lincoln Mark IV. In 77' it lost a lot of weight around 900 pounds and had a base engine of 302. In 78' the Thunderbird took the record of 353,000 sold and that record for T-Birds hasn't been broken since.

2016 McLaren P13 Sports Series

2016 McLaren P13 Sports Series

2016 McLaren P13

The 2016 McLaren P13 is going head to head with the Porsche 911. The mid-engined coupe fairs well as far as looks is concerned. It has 12 C's of a twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter V-8 and has the power of 450 horses. The Audi R8 also will give it a run for it's money. Expect to pay around $120,000.

1997 Porsche 911 Carrera

This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera is sweet! Straight from the 993 generation. The 911's timeline is incredible. The 95' Carrera was the last air cooled version, the 96' turbo has a glass roof, the 97' is a widebody, and the 98' was the end of an era with a water-cooled 996.

2013 Porsche Boxter

What wouldn't I do for this?

2013 Audi S8

The 2013 Audi S8 is an immaculate luxury vehicle. It costs around 6 figures which makes me want to start a ponzi scheme to get it. Much like the A8 this car can operate like a V-4, but essentially is a 4.0 liter V-8. The pound-feet of torque is 481 and has the power of 520 horses. The grill is in one word "sweet" and the interior design is both stylish and comfortable.
